Basildon businesses make the Essex Tech 50

Several Basildon businesses have been chosen for this year’s Essex Tech 50, an initiative launched in January 2024 to provide recognition to the county’s digital technology sector, celebrating innovation, growth, and local impact.

The Basildon businesses which made it on to the 2026 list are:

• Attract & Engage – an independent B2B marketing communications & marketing agency based in Billericay. Helping ambitious industrial and professional service SMEs build authority, influence buyers earlier and sell better
• Babble – a leading UK technology provider, headquartered in Basildon, specialising in cloud-first communications, managed IT services, and cybersecurity solutions for small and mid‑sized businesses

• Immervox – a Basildon-based business providing global connectivity. Creating bespoke telecoms, cyber security and IT solutions to ensure businesses stay connected, secure, and compliant, enabling uninterrupted operations
• Leonardo – the company’s Basildon facility is a cornerstone of UK defence electronics innovation, contributing significantly to advanced military sensing, communications, and protection systems used by the UK Armed Forces and international partners
